Heartland Bank is committed to helping college students succeed in their higher education.  To assist our students, we have made a financial commitment to help fund federally guaranteed student loans and help fund private student loans through the Iowa Student Loan program.  This organization provides financing for student loans across Iowa, but due to the recent credit volatility in the national financial markets, is concerned about a potential shortage in student loan funding.  Iowa Student Loan is confident that enough funds will be available for Iowa college-bound students. 

We understand the financial strain that college expenses place on families and students.  Heartland Bank will do everything it can to ensure our customers will have available funding for these important expenses.  Students should contact their school financial aid office for questions regarding loan availability.
